The Mighty Addons Age Checker widget provides you a feature that verifies the age of a user and then grants access to your site only if they meet your criteria. The age checker or age-gate widget handles the age verification so you don’t have to manually verify customers or risk selling to an underage customer.
The widget is available in the free version. So if you want to prevent your website from underage people, you can use our widget from Mighty Addons.
Once installation gets done, search “Age Checker” in the Elementor page builder search box, select the widget that has the MA symbol on the left corner, and drag and drop to the page.
This widget has its settings divided into two main tabs: Content and Style. Under the Content tab, we have the following subsections. Starting with the Basic subsection where you can choose the verification methods to display on the website.
Load popup in Editor:- Yes/No, if yes it allows showing the widget on the editor Page. if No it does not allow to show the widget on the editor page. We will recommend you to enable it as it will help you to view it in real-time.
Next is the Content subsection where you can add the logo image, title, description, and many more settings according to your choice.
After that, you have an Extra subsection where you can set the background image, overlay color, set cookies, etc.
After you have added the widget on your page it’s now time to style it with options available. The Styling options are under the Style tab.
Here you can set all the options like popup, Title, Description, etc. Style the age checker widget according to your need or priority.
After selecting the method is the date of birth one more styling tab input field is added. Add the color, Background color, Typography, Margin, Padding, Border Type, Border Radius, and Box Shadow as per your need.
If the method is selected as Yes/No then, the Second Button style tab is added in the style tab. You can set all the options according to your preference
